Dr. Patrick Burkardt graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry as a top graduate in his class. After earning his dental degree, he served as a dentist in the United States Air Force for 5 years, where he enhanced his dental and surgical skills.Dr. Burkardt was selected to attend an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the Air Force. While there, he received advanced training in intravenous sedation with special emphasis on oral surgery procedures. Dr. Burkardt graduated as top resident in oral surgery and I.V. sedation. Following residency, Dr. Burkardt served as a dentist at FE Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming. While there, he expanded his dental experience, performing hundreds of I.V. sedations and dental surgeries. Dr. Burkardt is continually expanding his knowledge and skills, completing education courses in dental anesthesiology, dental surgery, and dental implantology. Dr. Burkardt is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Burkardt enjoys giving back. He has volunteered on several dental mission trips to the countries of Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. He also volunteers at the Colorado Mission of Mercy. He looks forward to continuing volunteer mission trips throughout his career. In his spare time, Dr. Burkardt loves experiencing Colorado outdoors. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, and camping. He also enjoys traveling and visiting his family in Michigan.
